Football Fundamentals - RPO Run Concepts

If you've followed this with you, we've introduced a number of switching ideas that can be combined with an ongoing game to create an "RPO". We've seen LOS passes , fast passes, and even field readings . We also saw the first RPOs, which are called PROs here . And if you really pay attention, you will see that these RPOs are associated with almost any type of reproductive model. Here we will summarize these reading tables and briefly discuss the types of routes to be found based on the types of nations.

In the area

Probably the most popular jogging board in college football, it is the most popular jogging board for joining the RPO. A vertical offset for concept protection behind the interior area ; So the way to protect the interior is to "build a wall" in LOS. This means they have to go down the hill and close the gaps before the doubles can go to the second level. According to the defense, this often means that LBs or even security guards tarnish the appearance of the interior area, and the types of roads that are best paired with the interior area are the ones that force the cover to be removed. Inversely proportional to the projected stroke (usually gain in width and depth).

Because of the way RPPO usually works, most of the systems here are right for you. But you want to make sure that your layout allows enough "interior area" width to block exit tracks on rough roads. Ramps, fences and fences must be numbered in order to allow this separation.

Note that you can use RPOs designed to look like different area labels and even area labels, such as B. Individual Area and Landslide RPO. Similarly, you can basically "place" the Bible in a common place to act as the main buffer for the external RPO.

Outdoor space

The outdoor area is also known and was the scheme chosen for the original Bubble RPO option. The outer area is created based on horizontal movement, which forces the ball to follow behind the defense and breaks the barrier to reach the second level. Similarly, security is often forced which constitutes an advantage. This means that the paths that attack security in the sense of attacking the newly created LB Gap of "pop crossing" or chase game (shield, obstacle, obstacle) is a wonderful idea.

This model is an added advantage for NFL teams because it can be played without having to immediately descend a hill, especially when the LBs have to respect the passing threat (they maintain depth). This can help avoid illegal penalties for local residents.

Pin and Pull / Buck Sweep / G-Ball

Pin and pulse l is a change in the outer part where the front part of the block falls down when a ball is lined up in an inner chamber and is fired when it is not. Rubbing the head can act a lot like a hook and pull, but the OG in the middle or back acts as a second pull. Either way, it limits the barriers that are immediately exposed to the ground, making it attractive from an RPO perspective because it allows for longer development paths or more complex lessons that are common to most NFL RPO plans.

As with enclosures, these defenses should work from the rear, trying to place the edge in the front so that they match the general encirclement attack method.

O. Forka

The combination of attack point multipliers and extractors on the side of the game creates a lot of power and blocks. This forces the LBs to follow quickly to maintain the balance of defense This forces the front LBs to quickly descend the hill to close the hole. This creates a very normal "tunnel" between the second level of protection that can be exploited with barriers, obstructions, internal ramps and tunnel screens.

Also, since the front end must be placed against the force to avoid a large gap, it allows a way of entry from the outside in the direction of travel. Quick exits, bubbles, etc. can be dangerous in terms of energy.

Arrows

Arrow or rotation (use) is often referred to as "processing power". It is also known as the back of the ISO tackle or OT, which pulls and insulates the front LB. There is more time to hit the grid point than the Power O because it is common to shoot an arrow with a counter reaction. Attack the rear not the front, rather than the force. These are usually swinging or bubble screens that turn defenders into conflict screens or tunnels that take advantage of naturally formed tunnels. Because this model often has the DE stick unlocked, it makes games like ramps and barriers a little more dangerous.

Counter off / OH / OT.

Other counter graphs work just like arrows. However, you now have two drawers that basically go in front of the house. In terms of the type of graphics it can play with, it works like a counter-off / OHK power o . Again, the counter is usually relatively disconnected at the back, so you need to make sure it is not located in your speed window. This is in favor of retro screen and bubbles, but due to the width the RPO "tube" may appear in a new window.

See / Trap

The wham game or dumbbell game usually works because first level defense can shoot second level blockers instantly. The way to overcome this is to quickly descend and create a wall in the LOS to close the gap (the buffer block will usually not have too much movement, just block the DT). But the immediate reaction at the bottom of the hill often opens a gap behind a rock or pillar.

ISO / G-fold / pin-and-fold

Two types of outdoor insulation. Isolation or fixing and folding operations work by creating waves between the first and second level protectors by sending head locks to isolate some of the second level protectors. This allows indoor multipliers to quickly widen gaps and attack slopes. This forces the defense to respond at the same rate to bring the block to the same point of attack. While doing this, the defenses inside and below the mound are broken, leaving gaps at the ends of the defenses. This allows obstructions, external ramps and tunnels to affect both sides of the structure.

Bullets pull / pull / pull

This is often associated with the idea of first scanning. It uses a concept similar to the ISO game where you want to attack the edges of the defense with a barrier or an external barrier.

Half a row

Half-line locking allows the top of the game to block current flow (usually a pin-and-pool or out of range) when the end-to-end switch is set. As it is a weakness of the game, OL Wing Defender is not forced to reach the second level because the risk of passing hinders the defense from behind. They shoot, they throw you, they wait, you run. The QB-pass combination adds extra protection to the ball, allowing you to reduce free movement on the QB and improve your throw-back windows. It also prevents OL from being released too soon.
