Football Fundamentals: The Offensive "Read" Concepts

Well, well, let’s talk about Jora’s concept. What is the concept of the day? This is the game of the day.

But in fact we are talking about RPO - a pass option. Starting with the 2018 Super Cup, in football everything depends on the RPO. I talked about this a little earlier, first with Illinois and more recently in an OSU publication . But I want to add a little more depth because there seems to be some confusion and misunderstanding. So I want to do the basics first. This first post tries to lay the groundwork for an explanation of “reading the game”.

happiness
Let 's start with the origins of the popular "alternative" play Faith of the 1960s. Faith basically laid the groundwork for everything that was to happen. At first you were inside and out. They then added a field option to create a three-chance loss. And so on: reverse option, speed option, center line, spring, trap, wall and so on.

Read
Like the Rich Road reading story, they called it a two-minute attack (the origin of HUNH) and the place where they escaped with their weapons. But QB noticed that the last DE cheats and haunts him throughout the race. As soon as he strikes or deliberately pulls the ball out of the belly of Belarus, he gets a big win.

You can run reading zones, off - zones , various breeders , performance measurement, etc.

pass option
Who created the RPA? Well, obviously, Knut Rock was born in 1912.

Then, in the 1940s, the Princeton used a grand piano.

Michigan had a 1947 issue, and they thought it was great.

Woody Hayes thought it was a good idea ... and so on. Please read this post on Twitter because it is gorgeous.

Also, Brett Favor accidentally reinvented it.

And now it has led to everything from a quick pass to a busy game. We will talk about this in the following articles.

Rich Rodriguez is often explained the current RPO frequency, which leads to one of the biggest mistakes: you need a mobile QB. Rich Road took the opportunity to read, and mostly wanted to know how to switch from one reading option to three, so he introduced a pop-up as a second reading. However, most teams that use RPO are limited to one metric and often do not expect a real QB race.

dual screen
The dual screen is the same as the standard RPO. Use the fast screen on one side (mode) and then the slow screen on the other. There are pre-stream read numbers with post-stream read. This allows the attacker to attack on both sides of the field.

Skip the startup option
It’s another word for the race option, but now it’s PRO, but I wanted to give it my own class. ADVERTISING. Drawing with sticks is a thing of the past sometime in 2010, the difference being the “quick” option and the quick pass when the hole isn’t open. In recent years it has expanded due to shooting and paddling.

Smart football

A step-by-step option
This word always refers to socks. Basically, I understand that in every passing game there are many opportunities to pass, how is it different? You can complain about his name (I promise, I didn’t expect that), but then during football we can talk business and go for a day. The basic idea here is that your basic passing game is different.

Pass options ( another link ) often combine a fast path / path to one side of the pharmacy, followed by the concept of transition to the other side of the pharmacy. If the first path is open, throw it away, if not, keep going in the opposite direction. This often eliminates unnecessary receiver outside of deployment packages.

Spreading professional metaphors

in particular.
Some even accept previous readings as RPO. In my personal language RPOs are read immediately, not preliminarily. I call pre-tagging tags “alerts” or “alerts” for gameplay, smoke loops, transition tags and so on. They are based on numbers and use a prefix to make read and issue decisions, not to convey an emergency.

We will then consider some of the barriers associated with RPO, and then move on to the blockchain plans used in RPO plans.

Football Fundamentals - Pass First RPOs - PRO and PPO

Now we will focus on something similar to RPO , but instead of making the first choice (i.e. there is always a network point in the background), the first option is to skip. This includes not only playable games, but also games with a separate solo playthrough option that we've called Option Pass-Pass .

Varazim Baptism
The most famous RPO of the first pass of the game by far is the shot. This usually includes fast lanes that force you to extend your LB defense zone. If you acquire depth and breadth, you will experience a delay in launching games. This is a great game for RB racing or QB racing.

A set of two can also be short to become a basic tie .

More-Draw Makila

Play empty or look for keys of a single formation. A folding EQ is one of the best ways to increase the angle of the OL so that this sub-dial can be isolated like a lock. And I will repeat this over and over again until the cows come home: I love to stack blocks.

Same swing

Most teams currently use it with the QB, but there may not even be a 2-RB display pushing one RB in the path of the swing and the other left to pass. This is a simple reading of the LB streams if they are flowing into the oscillating section you are dumping, otherwise they are still throwing the oscillating section out into space. Pick and choose your favorite image option (single pull, bend pull , pull back.

shake counter

Leaving the draw for a while, if we want to launch the first RPO but survive the launch threat, we need a longer game. So, another option is a series of counters. Again, we could have done it behind Group 2, but most teams preferred the QB running game. Select the desired counter (OH Counter, OT Counter or Darts).

Drag against the trap
Similar to shake, but now use H on the back slide to attack the flat. This allows the RB to protect his back in the event of a kick or move forward to stop abuse in the current game.

Sprint Draw RPO.

Sprinting is a hell of a shot defense game , but it's getting harder to pair with the concept of running, and in fact, it's getting even harder. This is a quick read concept of a figured or split type to get the ball out of the QB's hand. If the field is open, if the defense cannot turn around and cut the dirt track, then throw it. If they pick up speed quickly, go back to the sprint draw.

Sprint Excavator

Legal Notice: Although the paddles are statistically "passable" (and technically named), I think this is a racing concept. That is why this game was not included in my article "RPO Home Front".

As we have listed, let's use the paddle crossing as a delay. Smart football hit the brain a few years ago and we saw it in today's game. It combines a fairly fast and easy reading from the outside (twist-flat or flow concepts are preferred) and the ability to twist inward before the blade passes, unless the flat track is opened immediately. This avoids the "excessive rotation" that multiple teams use to kill each location.

Shake the earth to the south
double screen

I've only written for dual screens before, but the basic idea is that you can read the fast screen on one side of the plane and the slow screen and broadcast on the other. Two screens, one game, basic playback.

Pass Option
In general, from the message " read violation "

This term always connects the panties in a butt. I understand that basically in each subsequent game there are several options for passing, what's the difference? You can complain about names (I promise I didn't guess), but then we can talk about football naming conventions and get on with the day. However, the basic idea here is different from your next main game.

The Pass-Pass option typically involves a fast/rhythmic pass on one side of the formation followed by an initial pass on the other side of the formation. If the starting path opens, you start, if not, start in the opposite direction. This often removes wasted shells from the location pack.

Pro-Style Deployment

And somehow you can combine something like the concept of a stick in the first game and a slow screen in the second, as described on syedschemes.com and smart football .

smart football

ETB.
And that shaped the concept of cross RPO for me (for now). In case you haven't noticed, there are several key schemes used to make this game work. But then I'll break them down to show the different concepts of executables that can be used in this way.
