Film Review: Penn State at Iowa, 2021

In 2021, Penn State will bring exciting plays to Iowa football—in terms of format, technique, and performance.

First some general ideas

Advantages of Pennsylvania:

  • I believe in their attack on the field against Cleford. It was a pre-game plan that included the team's strengths and weaknesses and saw it as good to score more than 30 points. The Negatives of Penn State:

Iowa Armed Forces

  • While the overall game plan isn't great, there are a few well-designed games that are named after a good time.

  • I really felt like the defense had calmed down before Cleford's injury. It looks weird but I think PSU has some complexity in this series.
  • The Iowa Defense Field is unoccupied. The issues raised regarding defensive athletics should now be emphasized a little, since they seem to fall on an outside athletic reception team.
  • The rotation is real. I repeat because a lot of people still think it's a joy. But the way they execute their mission and tactics allows them to play, and they do.
Iowa injuries

  • You must find a way to turn a hard loot into explosives. These are minor improvements, but it's clear that there are few instances where a man or two has avoided a fracture. They don't have good athletes at all levels, but that's not all. It's also not a very effective attack, so it's important to create mines when the opposing attack isn't anonymous.
  • I think there are problems with OG. While OTs have improved, they're not necessarily good. I think Iowa will continue to show good block blitzes, but consistency needs to improve. Similar to Professional Pass (including Arbi Position).
  • It is understood that some of the young men on defense have started to put pressure on them as they start struggling to get onto the field. I said above that I feel like Iowa is close, but it could go the other way. You can feel close and start chasing and losing discipline, and there were many examples in this game that I've seen in Iowa before. Something to watch out for.

Film Review: Michigan at Nebraska, 2021 Part 1

Exciting games - planned, technical, and executive - that set me apart from the 2021 Michigan Nebraska football game. It is divided into two parts according to its length.

First, some general ideas:

Michigan Power:

  • Despite the growing diversity of racing games, racing blocks continue to improve. This puts a lot of pressure on the defensive front.
  • Michigan found a way to create explosives in an ongoing game a few weeks before the game. They were very effective, but they can get explosives, the ground game really works
  • They found a comfort zone with empty collisions. I think they will express it in passing
  • DL really, really showed up. The Nebraska Front is struggling, but Michigan actually dominated on a block in the 1st.
Weaknesses in Michigan:
  • So many wrong shots. You have the ability to convert and recover TD, which you should do whenever you can. In general, past crimes are still believed to depend on open planners.

Highlights of Nebraska:

  • I thought Nebraska was blocking the neighborhood very well. Overall, I like the way their OLs are doing and have progressed in their career change over the last couple of weeks.
  • This is the law of DL. I think I’m talking about a lot of B1G bands, but DL fascinates me more than MSU.
  • I thought CB5 was a very good game. Her power on an island allows Nebraska to defend herself more because she can be trusted to cover up her man.
Weaknesses of Nebraska:
  • It was very difficult to watch this match to block the 1st level. Pass Pro isn’t good yet, but I think the biggest problem is that the combinations don’t hold up well, they rarely move forward, and the blocks fall off very easily. It forces the crime to act in its own way.
  • Martinez right now. It vibrates and accelerates under pressure, which forces it to work outside the model. It’s very good now, but when the plan is the strength of the team, it’s not the way to pursue success.

Film Review: Michigan State at Indiana, 2021

I share interesting bits, schematically, technically, from the 2021 Indiana football game in Michigan.

Michigan

The pros and cons come mainly from the previous looks, but some things have emerged.

  • Slade had a very good DT in this game, arguably the most annoying DL in MSU.
  • In attack-defense, some serious tricks helped the MSU a lot.
    • Up front, moving from a strong side split to a weaker side split helped make the LBs a little more stable, using the strong momentum of the angled DL against them.
    • On the defensive, the move from conventional Cover 3 և Cover 4 mods to more human / external media limited some of the screen elements that were very effective in the first half (especially the edge). The downside was that this resulted in a series of defensive interference flags.
The most important events in Indiana
