Inside the Playbook: Different Ways of Blocking Jet Sweep

Aircraft whip is one of the main concepts that teams use to quickly attack the edge. It is relatively inexpensive to install, acts as a serious constraint on your main game, and is an excellent tool for diagnosing defensive cover / rotation, as well as activating joints to support the vertical rhythm of the game. But not all teams use it the same and the teams that rely more on it feel the difference in preventing it. In this post, we will look at some ways you can see a jet whip blocker.

Do not block technology 3

The way I always studied Jet Sweep was very simple:

  • 3- Rear technology, against counterfeiting
  • External technology 3 is arched on the second level (seal) or strip, depending on the protection numbers.
This is a great way to sell a fake rear view by resetting block numbers without a 3-Tech lock that would be difficult to move (vertically or horizontally) to be able to play the holding ball. Opening the gap trigger B a) protects the point of your net from exploding (compared to not locking the gap trigger A), but b) gives you some freedom if you do not take good care of the cattle due to lack of time, ie. it closes quite close to the net point, so that if you are a little late or the ball holder does not hit at full speed, it can still pass around the non-blocking area.

Or 4i (B-gap player)

The downside is that you still have to find a way to block Tech 5, which is not always clear. Some will try to install technology 5 and do without it, but now you have a tractor in the background with an experienced player running at full speed that does not always work (better to work with a weapon, as below ).

Usually only a gap / bow is used, sometimes a technique of 5. is expected but this can put you in a difficult situation if you can not quickly place this guy on the floor or hit him.

Do not block technology 5
Now this seems to be the preferred approach for most teams as the number of specialized livestock teams is increasing (i.e. do it regularly). When hitting at full speed and at the right time, the ball holder should still be able to explode from the unlocked defender and if necessary detach forward before the end becomes horizontal and closes the space. He also addresses the issue of "what to do with Technology 5". Being the first weapon and using ABA concepts makes technology more forgiving, so I think more and more teams are turning to it. in favor of 3 non-blocking technologies.

(Do not hide technology 5)

The problem can occur if points enter or exit the perpendicular latch. If they are not shy to stop, or if they see defenders forming an arch, they can take their place before the ball holder takes the lead. This makes the "rules" not always enough, but whoever gets into 5-tech becomes important.

So you can try 5 different technology plans, for example, fix the third technology and remove the protection. If you get into 5-tech, quit if you do not try to sign up with it. Again, with a pistol, it is easy to leave space between the jar and the holding ball.

See how well it fits into the BASH game.

And another way to lubricate the 5-tech vertical

the maximum stadium arch

Matt Canada, Master Blaster, gives you the ability to block it from the closed or open side, always indicating that the bow will be farther away from the outside. This means that all TEs are in the closed direction or in the open side handle when running in that direction. It is interesting that the same players will bend over from time to time, even in the interactive forgery that holds the back of the guard, even if you have abandoned the traditional outdoor area.

Another interesting feature of Canada is that it is more willing to fight both on and off the field. The OZ plane still works, helping to widen the forehead, and you can close the whip with this action (or even continue RB) if you want to have the same original shape.

Special closure based on numbers / alignment

Some teams will simply use a split block (note: do not split the area, but split the line at one point as to who blocks one direction and who blocks the other) based on the number on defense and their position. This allows attackers to make sure they have enough to maintain the lead and theoretically not succumb to the revenge that reinforces the game.

Turn the bow, slide the line

Paul Cross, who roams the world of interactive whip, will use his spinner combinations (FB and TE) to advance to the second level. Meanwhile, his OL will initially function in the same direction as his back, but will slide to the second level, either closing the LB or coming out and hitting the edge.

How does it work even if there is no back?

Given the time and proximity to LV, he faced a Y-off arc to sell more off-field.

Not exactly a rocket, but it slides out of all the blocks from the first level.

split up and go

If you use a lot of break schemes instead of zones, just hurry up and run away, zone blockages are enough to sell the opposite (i.e. sell blocks down), so just block the visible path and do not worry about exiting. Someone discovered.
