Football Fundamentals: I-Formation RB Counter Plays

This is a sequential arrangement with lots of playing cards. Where there is no depth, one will have to hope that it will compensate for the width. The purpose of this article is to demonstrate the many nuances of running games available to you, in addition to the basics that you can find almost anywhere. I will highlight a few key features of the details, but most of the charts will be beyond a brief description. This position is limited (in essence) by power games, which are given directly to Belarus. Runs FB or QB or H-Back, Wing, TE or WR are not included. It also does not contain sets of options. These are things for future articles.

Why did I choose first-person training, which is mostly outdated, and how can I expect to use this information? I-Formation is a classic 2-spin set that enjoyed much of football history at the time of its release. It’s also a very adaptive form for running with shifts, H-backs and other aspects that basically fit any running concept in your frame. And most importantly: you can see the running game in I format and easily adapt it to many modern formations. For example, by changing footwork and possibly time, these games can be used as follows:

  • 2-Back Shotgun Runs (where the second back can be FB, H-Back, Wing or Sniffer)
  • 1-Rear QB gun works (use RB as an optional unit)
  • 1-Rear gun playback options (playback of performance options, performance options, or performance options overrides the optional unit.)
Many of the best crimes today often go back to old formations. In the NFL, with modern concepts of proliferation, you see a lot of the best crimes with T-wing concepts. This series of games does the same where it can (though, again, keep in mind that option packages and fake packages are not included in this article, so they are somewhat limited). Below is how each game blocks against two main equal fronts (4-3 top to bottom).

This article focuses on counteraction.

work plan
NPV counter
The most widely used Counter game in games today , Counter OR runs EMOL with OG and leads to Playside LB with FB.

NPV in the short meter
The short counter, also known as the impact counter, acts in the same way as the main short trap, except that the trap always occurs at a distance of two DL.

Blufteler D.E.
A bluff counterattack can be a great design when the defense starts throwing with strong side safety. Y-TE crosses the edge of EMOL and increases it along the way before switching to a defender on the player’s side.

Note that otherwise teams may lock you in front. According to the plan, Playside SAM is protected only by an internal protection unit. As a result, some teams may send a game suit to MIKE and ask FB to first unlock what they see so they can take DE / SAM only when they appear in the hole, otherwise come up and look for WILL. . Others may try to get into the SAM with a cannon from the side of the game and knock the DE out with a trap.

log counter
Action again, but try to get out of defense. When the defense tries to close the gap at the edge of the field, it kills and goes to the edge.

Unique Lead O Counterforce
Opposites in power play are commonly used mainly for weaknesses, but can theoretically also be used for strengths. It’s the same as the Lead Single Power O, only with a coated foot.

WO counter
Recently, the original counter-game has been revived, especially in reading. The first tractor kicks, the second pushes the LB towards the player.

OT short counter
Similar to the Short Counter OR, but with two movable LOs. The short version tends to play a little harder, so make sure your FB is well tilted to cut out the back. In this case, it's hard to stretch to catch 3T, so the defender caught - this is the first 4i-Tech-Out DL.

OT register counter
Designed to go outside as soon as the internal defense starts cheating, it’s like Counter OF Log, where the kick block is given a little more depth for drawing in EMOL.

plumber
If an additional block is required to account for the return (or read), this game usually tries to skip the EMOL registration with FB (or the first trigger if FB is not aligned). While it can also run like a traditional OT counter with an optional basic blocker, you need to make sure you have a good blocker at the back of the game to keep them from chasing you behind.

intermediate shaft
Power O, but with a pull-up. Considering the extra soil obtained by pulling T instead of AG, this is a compromise.

single arrow
Just as you can add a lead blocker to Power O by running “Single Back Power O” and adding FB as a lead blocker, Counter Dart can have the same theme.

Divide the single arrows
This is usually a low side travel, with the rear TE replacing the FB unit. But as a strong run, it allows you to get a split stream in the backfield and scissors with the RB to threaten the weak side before hitting the power ahead.

counterattack
Many people use “wrap” and “dart” interchangeably, but in this case the “wrap” RB takes a backhand and sticks OT around the formation and records the defensive EMOL. FB will follow a similar path and go outside.

stroke counter
The ball is thrown into Belarus or forged before it is returned to him. In either case, a long trap is used that moves the device over the layer and ejects the EMOL.

Crack G Lood Meter
G The lead usually comes out fast, and in this case he uses counter kicking and throwing to break down. This can help seal the protection inside.

counter strike
Initially, this counter will look like a small lateral force (or arrow), but in fact it is a meter that works in reverse when the protection falls badly.

reverse fold
Leivou Oh, but with a quick break in the back field.

Distribution counter OR
Divide only the force O, but against the foot of the RB to sell the split stream.

Round
Meter without tractor. In this game, Belarus takes the ball from the weak side and "kills" the player's side to the center. FB starts with the party.

stomach counter
It’s really an iso-game, but with countermeasures in the back field. Both FB and RB will start the match with low isolation. As soon as RB gets the ball, he cuts the player's side.

* Please note that the entire nomenclature is mine, although every effort is made to adhere to the standard. As you add parts you can add “tags” to the main parts (like me) or create individual word titles to fill the space for shorter communication.
